Don’t get us wrong, SWAG bags and giveaways are great opportunities for exposure… I mean, who doesn’t like free stuff?! But if you’re just slapping your logo on products and calling it a day- then its time to step your SWAG up!

Using SWAG to Enhance The Hotel Experience
From a marketing standpoint, hotels are constantly trying to differentiate themselves. From pens, to towels, and everything in between, each hotel is trying to uniquely brand themselves to stand out in a crowded field. Both of the water bottles above are customized to represent the specific brand identity of their hotel. The W (left) has more of a sleek, minimal, very modern look, while Loews (right) focuses more on the art and features a local artist’s work on their bottle to give it that exclusive look.
In fact, attention to this type of detail has become more than just another means to differentiate yourself, it is a matter of survival in the current marketplace. One of the top challenges facing the hotel industry today is the fact that Airbnb has caused travelers to expect an increasingly personalized experience. As a result, hotels are now focused on providing more of an experience instead of just a place to stay.
But there are countless ways to enhance customer experience through branded products. For instance, check out what we did for The Vespera (pictured above). Since they have such a great waterfront location, we made them their own telescopes that were placed in every room for guests to view the surrounding sights!
And there’s nothing more “on-brand” than products with a picture of your building on it- which is exactly what we did for the Intercontinental Hotel. Since their architecture creates an unmistakable shape along the city skyline, we took their building and printed it on a custom shaped key chain (pictured above), as well as a custom shaped power charger (pictured below).
