It is easy to get overstimulated and not know where to start. One booth has an awesome setup, another booth has the exact product/service that you have been looking for. Not to mention that after a while, every booth/table throw/and retractable banner all seem the same. So where do you start when you are trying to increase your trade show engagement?
Our friends at CrewHu wanted to help their trade show attendees figure that out. With the help of SOBO, they were able to brainstorm a unique way to engage any trade show attendees and work to garner interest in the awesome services CrewHu has to offer.

Here is how it worked. First, the keys and a lock were made. Additionally, we worked to customize both a keychain and key tag. With this event being so close to Halloween, something zombie related only made sense. Custom tags were then affixed to the keys. At the tradeshow, the sets of keys given out to all of the attendees.
Here, however, is the trick. Of the 300 keys, only five of them actually opened the lock. The rest were duds. When attendees stopped by CrewHu’s booth they were able to try their luck at opening the lock. Attached to the lock was a black box with mystery prizes inside. Should a participant have one of the five lucky keys, they would open the box to win various prizes ranging from Apple Ear Pods to a $100 Amazon gift card.
So how did it go? Not only was CrewHu able to increase the number of people stopping by their booth, but the organizers of the event even made note of it as a great marketing tool.
